A 19-year-old girl Princess and her 22-year-old yahoo boy friend have been reportedly burnt to death after refusing to share money he allegedly got from defrauding people.
The shocking incident took place in Kasoa, Ghana, a 19-year-old girl and her 22-year-old boyfriend named Kwabena Osei have painfullly lost their lives after being set ablaze by friends over GHS 190,000 allegedly gotten from internet fraud.
GhPage, reports that Osei, an alleged member of a gang of internet fraudsters, was targeted after he refused to share the substantial spoils with his associates. Friends of Osei had repeatedly confronted him, urging him to reconsider his decision to keep the money for himself. However, their appeals went unheeded, escalating tensions within the group.
In a desperate act, Osei’s friends allegedly doused his residence with petrol and ignited the flames, resulting in the complete destruction of the property. Sadly, his girlfriend, identified as Princess, was present at the time and also succumbed to the inferno.
According report, Princess was also involved in the fraudulent activities, allegedly serving as the voice of a supposed white lady to facilitate calls on behalf of Osei and his gang.
Internet fraudsters mostly use their girlfriends or close female associates who pretend to be white ladies through voice calls to carry out their love scams as they poses as ladies to their victims who are mostly white men of the American, British and other origins.
