US Election: Obama Backs Joe Biden Despite Criticism Over Presidential Debate Performance

American former President, Barack Obama has shown his firm stand with Joe Biden despite criticism over Biden’s performance in the presidential debate against his opponent, Donald Trump.

Obama has openly supported President Joe Biden, after Biden pressing debate against former President Donald Trump. in the message which indicates his support, shared on his X, Obama pointed out the vivid differences between the two candidates, he encouaged voters ahead of the elections to focus on the resultant effects of the elections.

“Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself,”

Obama further wrote; “Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight — and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit. Last night didn’t change that, and it’s why so much is at stake in November.”

President Biden, who served under Obama as vice president from 2009 to 2017 has been facing backlash among home and diaspora over his age and soundness. But Obama support tends to reshape the focus of Biden on his dedication to public service.
